James passed away in 2008 or 2009 not sure which year and I do know he was very ill during the years before because I use to work at a nursing home where he was staying and even then, he was blind in both eyes and he knew allot about music and was one of the best Producers out of DC. Rest in Peacee Mr. James Purdie......You are one of the first founders of Go-Go which the first album was a hit and went nation-wide throuugh out the U S. You are truly a piece of GO-GO History.... and will be missed as well..... MUCH LOVE PEACE & SOUL to MR. JP......Earl known as Denny of S E Washington DCR.I.P.
