the NFL Draft.
The NFL found that Miami violated the 'integrity of the game' due to 'impermissible communications' it had with the legendary quarterback on two occasions, when he was with the Patriots and Buccaneers respectively. The team also tampered with former Saints coach Sean Payton, who's now with the Broncos.
But Dolphins GM Chris Grier shared to reporters Thursday how the Dolphins may still have a pathway to picking in the first round.
'We've had a couple of teams in the bottom half of the first round reach out about saying they would be interested in coming down possibly if their guys aren't there, and if we'd be interested in moving,' Grier said, via.
Grier added the caveat, however, that there have not been 'serious conversations, ' though he's open to the discussions.

The team is without a first-round pick after being punished for tampering with Tom Brady
The franchise's 'impermissible communications' with Brady and Payton came between 2019 and 2022, according to the NFL.
As it pertains to Brady, the conversations allegedly involved talks of the future Hall of Famer becoming a limited partner with the team.
Contact with Brady was found to have occurred during the 2019 season and postseason, when he was on the Patriots, and during and after the 2021 season, when he was with the Buccaneers.
The punishment to the Dolphins - which also included losing a 2024 third-round pick - was handed down after a six-month investigation from the league.
Team owner Stephen Ross issued a strong rebuttal to the tampering charges in August.
'With regards to tampering, I strongly disagree with the conclusions and the punishment,' the billionaire said in a statement.
'However, I will accept the outcome because the most important thing is that there be no distractions for our team as we begin an exciting and winning season. I will not allow anything to get in the way of that.'
Brady retired from the NFL on February 1 after 23 seasons in the league which culminated in seven Super Bowl titles -- six with the Pats and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It was the second - and seemingly final - retirement of his career, after ephemerally hanging up the helmet for 40 days in February 2022.
He reneged on the move, playing again for Tampa through the 2023 NFL season amid a divorce from his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen.
If Grier does wish to move into the first round, he may have to get creative, as the Dolphins have just four picks in this year's draft and only two within the first three rounds.
